The range was first listed in the 72/73 catalogue and also appears in the 75 catalogue. These models were replaced for the 78 catalogue with a new range of larger and chunkier style figures coded IR.

The horses for this range changed between the 72 and 75 catalogues with the earlier catalogue having the PB horses (with saddlecloths) and the later the A range horses without saddlecloths. Some cavalry riders are modelled with saddlecloths and some without. It's quite common to find rider and horse combinations lacking saddle cloths altogether, whilst others have two - one for the rider and one for the horse!
